Land Area Calculator
Enter the length and breadth of a plot in feet or metres to get its area in square feet, square metres, aana, ropani-aana-paisa-daam and bigha-kattha-dhur. For a plot with uneven sides, enter all four sides.

How to calculate land area
Multiply the length by the breadth. A 30 × 40 feet plot is 1,200 square feet. One aana is 342.25 square feet, so 1,200 ÷ 342.25 = 3.51 aana (0-3-2-0 in ropani-aana-paisa-daam).
If you measured in metres, multiply the area in square metres by 10.7639 to get square feet.
For a plot whose opposite sides differ, average each pair of opposite sides and multiply the two averages. This is a close estimate for plots that are nearly rectangular; a surveyor (amin) can give the exact area.
